"Tarted-Up" Strawberries and Cream Scone Cake

For Mother's Day I decided to revisit an old recipe, but being a special occasion the original needed a bit of tarting up.


In my book you can't beat chocolate, melted to a molten pool of delectableness and then frivolously (if not rather delicately!) drizzled over for sure fire success in the tarting up stakes!


It certainly went down a treat ... can't wait to make it again when my own strawberries have grown!
